AI voice-fraud on the rise — time to rethink authentication

We at Blue Sentient are closely watching the warning from OpenAI CEO Sam Altman: the financial industry is facing a “significant impending fraud crisis” because AI tools can now impersonate voices and bypass voice-print security.
What it means for us: as businesses deploy voice-bots or voice authentication systems, we must assume that voice alone is no longer secure. Multi-factor, behavioural-based detection and voice-anti-spoofing tools are becoming mandatory.
